An update on my life experiences!

It's been a while.

I cannot believe I haven't written anything in the last couple months! Many new things have happened in my life. I'd want to discuss fresh changes and experiences with you all.

Since September, I've returned from London to my hometown of Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Last summer, I graduated and was unsure what to do next. When I was offered a traineeship at a Dutch television channel, I couldn't help but say yes.  Of course, leaving London was difficult because I had almost spent four years there, building a new life with friends and family.  Compared to Rotterdam, where I know all of my family and friends live, London is a wonderful city that has shaped me into the person I am today.




I had a wonderful experience, especially when I received my degree, which I am really proud of. After months of coming home, I completed my traineeship. I understand that the sector in which I wish to work (fashion and television) is difficult and competitive. But I'm still fighting to combine life and work here in the Netherlands.

It has not been an easy path because I believe that the media in the Netherlands is not very diverse, and I sometimes feel that there is no place for someone like me in the journalism industry in the Netherlands.

What is the theme, who is attending,the Met Gala in 2025 "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style

Yesterday, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York hosted the Met Gala, the year's largest fashion event. Anna Wintour always comes up with an amazing concept. The event's theme this year was "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style." Twelve traits of Black dandyism will be used to organise the event showcase, which examines the significance of fashion and style in the development of Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora.   My top pick for best dressed was this: When I learnt that this would be the theme, I was thrilled because I thought it would allow actors, fashion models, and celebrities to use their clothing to honour Black culture. There is a hint of spring here.

 Which season is your favourite of the year? Naturally, I don't have one because, as someone who was born in June, I adore the summer. However, during the holiday season, I also enjoy it when it becomes a little cooler. For now, I am embracing the arrival of spring and its debut! The weather has been inconsistent, with some days being cold and others being sunny. The sun rising always makes me feel better and mo re energised. You start to feel better and like you can take on the world once more. Because of the way things change in the spring, I also think that it's time for new experiences and adventures. It could be for a new career, a new home, a new relationship, or simply attempting new things in life. Now is the time to look into your options and attempt new things.
